About David Gibson: David “Dolce” Gibson is a recording artist/engineer and multi-varied entertainer. Born in Detroit on June 11th, 1991, David is the son of Alicia Dalton and David Gibson. His father is African American/Native American, a native of Detroit, Michigan and Windsor Ontario; and his mother is African American/Irish, a native of Johnson City, Tennessee. David’s interest in music began at a very young age. From his early childhood spent both in Detroit, Michigan and Washington, D.C. he built an admiration and appreciation for music that he would later develop into the sound you here from his music today with influences by, Motown and Go-Go.
Since first being recognized for his first mixtape, "Junior of the Year," in 2012, and becoming the winner of 93.9 WKYS Next Big DMV Artist, David has declared himself as a founder in the world of new Hip-Hop/R&B. David released his first video, "Night You Won't Forget," in 2012 and his success in the music industry has reached higher levels of achievement ever since. Now David has built his audience up by doing various remakes of popular songs like, "Body Party," by Ciara; "Na Na," by Trey Songz: "Break From Toronto," by Party Next Door; and "Awwsome," by Shy Glizzy, just to name a few. In the year of 2015, Dolce plans to release original work of his own; one being his first original single in years, "Pop," produced by DJ (an)Rky.
