About F.A.M.E.: Birthed in the city of Washington, DC, F.A.M.E., which is an acronym for (Finally Achieving My Excellence), was immediately surrounded by music. Having a musical father made it almost inevitable for him to escape the love he has developed for his craft. Dealing with the harsh realities of life where plastic was more likely than a silver spoon and losing his mother as a teenager, F.A.M.E., learned early that life was no bed of roses. "My Pop’s was a necessity only type of provider, so until I was able to start making my own coins, I was subjected to wearing things most kids wouldn’t want to be caught dead in." F.A.M.E.'s father enforced education, which made him a scholar in school, but it was his father's passion for music that F.A.M.E. inherited. "My Pop’s had a studio set up since before I was born. He always made music, day in and day out. I recorded an entire mix tape on a tape recorder, I was just so fascinated with the fact that I was hearing myself back." Music would become therapy for F.A.M.E., after losing his mother at an early age. "I always wrote my feelings down. It started as poetry. Once my Mom passed, writing turned out to be a release for me to let go of any anger and pain I was dealing or coping with. I then slowly transitioned my poetry into song format." Writing one of his first rhyme's to, Beanie Seigel's "Feel It in the Air" and tittling it "Dear Momma", F.A.M.E. was then, addicted to music. Since then F.A.M.E. has written tracks with the likes of Hip-Hop artists such as, G-Two, Scolla, K-Prime and many other emerging artists. He's performed at the infamous U Street Music Hall, Pure Nightclub, George Mason Univ., and a host of open mics, while recently winning Raheem Devaughn's/368 Music Group's "DMV's Diamond in a Ruff" competition. "Adversity builds character, being resilient doesn't come easy." His reflection is that of greatness, his mindset is humbled, he aspires to inspire while entertaining the world through his music. "I'm a Dreamer, I feel alive when I dream..." "Music makes me feel alive. Music is what feelings sound like, alive. Music puts me in a place where I feel no person or thing can ever put me. I simply love the art and craft of music. Music, in my opinion is God’s greatest gift to the world aside from women, children and food." F.A.M.E. is locked and loaded. Living by the quotes, "Do what you love, not what they'd love for you to do.", "Ambition is priceless, Patience is appealing and Boredom Kills." and "Losing is not an option." F.A.M.E. is simply as put, READY.
