About BJ: BJ was born and raised in NE Washington DC where he started writing songs at the age of 15. BJ started taking music seriously after high school and started a team with his fellow friends called Loose Money Entertainment. The DC native has a southern flow with a cinematic story telling skill set. He’s blessed to have a talent of this nature, and doesn’t take it for granted so he implements hard work and dedication to master his craft. He decided to take the role as “The front runner” on his Loose Money team to take the team to new heights. BJ was scheduled to drop a highly anticipated mix-tape early November 2012 but it got canceled due to life threatening circumstances. October 30th 2012 while in a deep sleep, BJ was stabbed with a butcher knife a few inches from his heart by someone he called a close friend. After losing pints of blood and being hospitalized for several weeks he pulled through the series of life threatening medical situations. Once BJ got healthy he picked up his rap career where he left off and put the finishing touches on his “Beyond Average” mixtape, which he later released in August of 2013. In the summer of 2013 he was ranked #1 amongst artist from the DMV area according to Patrick Dugger and The Celebrity Status. He dedicates his hard work and efforts to his mother who worked multiple jobs and put it all on the line to support and raise him to be the man he is today. People who know BJ will tell you that he’s a perfectionist; he’s a strong believer in quality first.
