About BJR: Music producer and songwriter, BJR - was born in Angeles City, Philippines. The aspiring songwriter was raised in Severn, MD and attended college at Salisbury University with a major in graphic design. He quickly gained a unique attraction to music and left school to pursue a career as a musician. As a singer he immediately cut demos at other studios before slowly building his own home recording studio. After shopping around his recordings BJR received initial offers from Def Jam Records at the age of 20. However with no knowledge of what he was doing at the time, he boldly declined those opportunities because he felt that he was not where he needed to be musically.

Today BJR is one of the industries best up and coming producers. With credits : J. Cole, Kid Ink, Chris Bivins and many other artists.

He is the founder of a new up and coming production company 1st Love Productions featuring top DMV producers Nate Lanzino, Justin 'Momento' Warren, and Josh 'Karbon' Brunstetter.
