BCarlyle.Bandcamp.comAbout Brandon Carlyle: Brandon was born in Washington, DC at Greater Southeast Hospital in 1986. Since he was able to read and write he was very intrigued by music. His family is full of professional musicians, songwriters, and singers - most notably Washington D.C.'s legendary go-go and jazz musician Chuck Brown. All through grade school Brandon was a part of most extracurricular activities that included music. As a percussionist he was a part of concert and classical ensembles, jazz and contemporary jazz bands, as well as the marching band. After high school he studied for his bachelor’s degree in economics, and at the age of 19 started a media collective called The Carlyle Studio Enterprise, LLC. During his entrepreneurship he was a percussionist and pianist for a handful of local go-go bands throughout the DMV area. Because of his talents he was given creative control for the band’s music in which he combined other genre foundations with the band’s music which created his signature sound. That's where the passion for producing and songwriting began. Soon after he soon moved on from the local scene and started branching out. He has worked with artist from as far west as Seattle, WA and as far east as Paris, France and most notably within the DMV. His vigilant desire to learn from different artist, cultures, and genres of music shaped and molded his sound into what some call a breath of fresh air. At 25 years old he still has the same passion and desire for music that first led him into his journey. The hard work, trial and error, and undeniable desire to create is what make his sound stand out from the rest.
