About FryeNation: Born and raised in the District of Columbia, Antione Lee Frye, other-known as FRYENATION , began his musical pursuit in his freshman year of high school in 2009 at the lunch time cyphers (as many famous emcees before). Over the course of the next four years, FRYENATION developed his own unique style within hip-hop, influenced by other double-time / “chopper” styles such as: Tech N9ne, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, and many more. He released his first full-body project/mixtape “RESILIENCE” April 1st, 2016 in which, aside from 2 songs, was both self-recorded & engineered in his home’s basement. It consisted of 14 completely original tracks. During that first week of its release in April, music from the tape captured attention from TRAPROCK’s own, Ethan Spalding, who then proceeded to make FRYE an official member of #TRF. Ironically, connecting him back to one of his old high school cypher mates, Paul McKinley. Finishing out his year strong, FRYENATION has been modeling for Grind Stone Universal, and performing hype live shows in the DMV after getting back from Chris Webby’s tour stop in Hartford, CT with Zach Zubko.
