About Garvey: Garvey “The Chosen One”, born Marcus T. Wells, specializes in creating classic hip hop. Born and raised in the brutal streets of Northwest Washington, DC, Garvey is ahead of the competition as a well grounded and lyrically gifted MC. Garvey is aligned with Triple Team Entertainment label, and is featured on the mixtapes “Warning Shot” and "A-Game", along with fellow Triple Team Entertainment artist and super-producer, Rico Anderson. In December 2009, Garvey release his debut album “Hard Hat Area” - Volume 1 distributed by DTLR. After the success of that album he has continuously released dope music for the DMV. Garvey continues to deliver compelling and memorable stories of the streets.
