Carlos Garcia and some local artists to form the independent label "After Dark Records". These relationships and experiences would come full circle in the future.
After High School Godfather really began taking a career in music seriously. His skills on the ivory's becoming sought after, and with the resurgence of go-go music, Godfather found himself playing with the areas top bands like 3rd Dimension, Scrilla and UCB. This led to a national tour with Maybach Music's frontrunner and DC native
Wale as well as working with hit R&B group Next.
Godfathers next venture was the production super group Best Kept Secret producing the hit single "
Pretty Girls" for Wale, and working with many of todays hottest artists including Robin Thicke, Mark Ronson, Skyzoo and many others.
The Group separated and Godfather has reunited with Long time friend Carlos Garcia at the
Center for Arts and Media, a huge multi-media complex in Laurel, Maryland. Consisting of 3 recording studios, a state-of the art photography and video studio, large soundstage, print and duplication shops. A real one stop shop for artists and creative's. Godfather continues to work with recording artists like 50 Cent, KMichelle, and Hamilton Park while running his own studio and making time to work with the areas local talent.
