About Idea: At age 6, Idea endured the tragic passing of her mother to Cancer. At a loss at a young age she attached herself to music. Involving herself in school choir, at age 9, she began cultivating her vocal talents and her songwriting skills followed at age 12. In 2011 Idea booked her first studio session and has been focusing on building her own unique sound. From 2011 to present Idea has written and released various unofficial tracks in order to find her niche. She has developed respect with many local artist and has secured features on many of their records; most notable, rap artist Brooklyn Beanz on the records “ We Fly ” and "Goosebumps" ”(Trials and Tribulations of Real N***a). She had performed at many venues up and down the east coast yet still felt she hadn't found HER sound. Now, teamed up with budding local Producer BigMattBeatz, and having refined her R&B sound coupled with a Pop writing style and a splash of rap she is ready and willing to share her art with the world
