From Illa Ike: I am Illa Ike Murda which stands for the illest Ike you will ever know and I murda beats cause you can't do anything with the beat once I'm done with it. I was born Gary "Issac" Marion Jr. in Fairfax Hospital in 1986. My entire family has musical roots but I started rapping at the age of 13. I was originally mic shy until one night I spazzed out and everyone started saying "Ike murdered that shit!"... and from then on I've been Illa Ike Murda.

I started out with a record label called Ivain Records, which is where I sharpened my skills. At the age of 17 I started working with team Gutta as a street team member which showed me the grind side of the music industry. After both teams failed I started my own movement called Hustle Right simply because that's exactly what I plan to do.
