About J'Nae Morrae: J’Nae  Morrae  is  a  music  producer  and  pianist  whose  contagious  drive,  festive  spirit  and  impelling   collaborations  have  made  her  a  progressive  favorite  within  the  DC  area  music  scene.    She  embraces   strong  influences  of  her  mixed  Caribbean-Latin  background  and  the  DC-area  culture  to  create  colorful   pop/club  melodies  that  play  into  the  eager  ears  of  the  hungry  listeners.    J’Nae  is  Maryland  born  and   Panamanian  raised,  using  her  eclectic  culture  she  practices  into  the  many  genres  of  music  she  alternates   among  when  producing  beats;  and,  having  the  natural  ability  to  study  and  produce  music  while  still   maintaining  her  unique  sound.    Though  her  career  has  only  just  begun,  her  career  highlights  include  the   collaboration  in  a  massive,  72-hour  project  with  other  local  producers,  audio  engineer  and  artists   working  on  a  tape  for  three  days  in  a  local  music  studio,  and  the  continuation  in  collaborating  with  local   artists  in  2012.    

  Miss  Morrae  has  recently  finished  and  released  her  third  instrumental  EP  (beat  tape)  in  the  summer  of   2012  titled,  “Chai  Tea,”  to  join  her  other  Tea  for  Thought  beat  series.    This  beat  tape  has  sparked  buzz  on   her  unique  style  of  sound  within  the  DC  area;  much  so,  that  many  artists  from  the  local  area  and  New   York  are  currently  working  with  her  to  freshly  create  their  music  project.    She  has  always  been  a  part  of   the  music  &  arts  through  not  only  her  corky  music,  but  as  well  as  through  dance  and  art.     She  is  currently  a  super  senior  at  the  University  of  Maryland  in  College  Park,  MD.    Music  production  will   uplift  not  only  herself  in  her  many  dreams,  but  uplift  her  loving  and  hard-working  parents,  her  little   sisters  who  they  admire,  and  many  others  who  she  has  touched  through  her  exciting  music.
