At age 14, Kia began creating beats using FL studio and recording on Acid Pro. Eventually she started performing & touring in her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland and in time, Kia gained the attention of the local media. The Baltimore Afro covered her in their Hustle & Flow section and she has also been featured on several underground music blogs. Her singles “Blow Up Girl” and “Someone Like You” were featured on 92Q Jams radio station and her single “Throw Ya Fist Up” was used in director Damien Bailey’s independent film, “Gang Girl”.
