About Mikel 9: Raised in Ft. Washington, MD inspired by 90s Hip Hop Mikel 9 started playing the saxophone as a kid. He began flowing writing and freestyling in high school then started recording at 17. Since then has put together mixtapes and collaborated with local artists in the DMV. He also has performed at venues in Baltimore, Bladensburg, Alaska, and Washington DC. With a smoove yet energetic style Mikel 9 is most definitely a must hear and must see.
