About the video: Uptown XO and Cool Kids Forever Films have come together to present the visual for “Effortless”. “Effortless” is the first in a series of visual leaks in preparation for Uptown XO’s release of the highly anticipated “Monumental 2” slated for free download in July 29th. The bass thumping horn heavy production for the track was composed by DMV production dynamo ABtheProducer. The dynamic duo first teamed up together is 2009 for the historical release “Monumental” and after working together on various projects; Uptown XO’s 1.1.10 and ABtheProducers Crown Vic Music; and with other artist and producers they have reconnected for what promises to be the one of the most influential albums to be released in 2011. The gritty and intense visual for “Effortless” were captured by 2010 DMV Award winning director 6ix Shoota as he roams the streets of Uptown Washington DC and captures what is left of the city we once knew.
