CHARLES COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) — A D.C. rapper was shot and killed in Waldorf Tuesday night in an attack officials say was not random.
Detectives are continuing their investigation of a homicide that occurred late last night in the 2200 block of Stream View Place in Waldorf. A young adult male was shot. More details will be released later this morning.
Sources first told ABC7's Brad Bell that the rapper was 20-year-old Antonio Harper Jr. of Waldorf, also known as A1 Lil Tony.
The Charles County Sheriff's Office says that Harper was walking towards an apartment the 2200 block of Stream Vista Place when a suspect came up and shot him several times. The sheriff's department was called to the scene at around 10 p.m. and medical crews pronounced Harper dead.
