About this Track: Back in August, Topdolla Sweizy had our jaws on the floor of Constitution Hall when he opened for Plies... in his drawers. He grabbed our attention again with his new song, “The Real Washington Post.” Over the backing track of Fabolous’ “Breathe,” he sounds off on the city’s crime rates, its losing sports teams, perennial frustrations in the go-go scene and more. It follows in the grand tradition of rap songs about Washington woe: D.C. Scorpio’s “Beam Me Up, Scotty,” Romeo Clark’s “Washington Def City” and Wale’s recent salvo “D.C. or Nothing.”
