About Obii Say: Obii Say, born Darrius Freeman, is a recording artist that has never extensively traveled. Yet he is able to embody the definition of imagination through the medium of writing. His music is a reflection of personal occurences as well as situations that are remote from his daily life. To label him [strictly] as ''concious'' would be rather shallow, as he is still a teenager that lives by a personal motto, often saying "Fuck being normal, None of us are". With at least seven recording projects, one of which (A Kid Born Supreme) caught the ear of Mike Trampe of HipHopDx and another (The Vinyl Proxy) gathering 36,000+ downloads to date, work ethic does not have to be questioned. Expect more bodies of work from this artist in the near future.
