About Offishal: Lifestyle Rap/Hip Hop artist "Offishal" has been rapping since the age of 12. Lamonte Johnson hails from Woodbridge VA, and Fayetteville NC. He was born in Charlottesville VA in 1989 to Tammy and Richard Johnson of VA. Although the family re-stationed 9 times since the rapper was born, Offishal was mostly raised in NC. Offishal attended Forest Park Senior High School, Northern Virginia Community College, and is currently pursing a major in massage therapy. His father and uncle currently run "Hit The Deck Entertainment" one of the most popular DJ service companies in Central, VA. In September, 2011 Offishal recored his first song titled "Glass House" with up and coming artist "Yung Streets." Glass House was engineered by Kentucky-bred, Atlanta-based "KY Engineering", who has manned the boards for the likes of Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka and 2 Chainz just to name a few. That same year Offishal and his label Flite Klub worked with and affiliated with artists and producers such as the late great Slim Dunkin, Alley Boy, Black Cobain, Wale, Fat Trel, Tone P and many more. In 2012, Offishal released his first mixtape titled "In The Zone". His mixtape received a lot of accolades and helped expand Offishal's movement. Representing Flite Klub, Hit The Deck Entertainment, Well Known, Mayja Playa and 2 Gz Expect he has a team that has his back. Expect more big things to come from him in the future.
