About Rah Mac: Rah Mac is the DMV's own, PG-bred, MC/Producer that is looking to give his city the shine it so desperately craves…Although he did not begin emceeing until the age of 17, and producing by the age of 20, Mac and his work has been on display up and down the East Coast; from his home state of Maryland to the Big Apple (New York), even reaching out to North Carolina and Philadelphia, PA.

Mac started out as a freestyle rapper with The T.E.A.M. Records, a Newark, NJ-based label headed by Ron Sampson. Working on the campus of University of Maryland Eastern Shores, Mac appeared on campus and web-circulated mixtapes, making his mark with ferocious verses, laced with hard-hitting punch lines and clever wordplay. After transferring to University of Maryland College Park, prior to beginning his junior year in college, Mac linked up with Imperial Records, a Baltimore, MD-based label that worked side-by-side with neighboring label Major League Records and its main artist Mullyman. Only working as an artist, it was around this time that Mac started to learn the ropes of producing. After a brief stint in Baltimore, with a new focus and newly-acquired skills, Mac took his talents back to New Jersey to work with his cousin and his label, Ivy Storm Entertainment, as an in-house producer. However, looking for more to gain from the game, Mac decided it was time to fly solo…

Mac is now the head of his own recording and production labels, making his first mark by producing tracks for The Co-Op, InnerLoop Records artist Laelo and K-Beta (“Rolla”), and The Bridge. In October 2011, Mac released his first all-production project, The Liberty City Instrumentals, an instrumental project based around the video game cult classic Grand Theft Auto. Mac is currently working on his first recorded independent release.
