About Shordie Shordie: Shordie Shordie was raised in Baltimore, MD had little interest in rapping until he formed the group Peso Da Mafia with his brother Lor Dee and their cousin PDM Purp. The group's single "Money Man" was a regional hit, due in part to the dance that accompanied the song. Peso Da Mafia's first mixtape, Never a Drought, appeared in 2018, and Shordie Shordie was already working on his solo material. He released several singles that year, including "Lonely" and "Holidays", but it was "Betchua (Bitchuary)," a melodic trappy track about unfaithful partners, that caught on the most, streaming in the tens of millions in a short period of time. This song opened the floodgates for Shordie Shordie, and he released his debut mixtape "Captain Hook" later that year.
