About Socio: Born June 7th, 1994 in Carlisle Pennsylvania Socio was raised by a single mother until reconnecting with his father at the age of 11. He later moved to Virginia and played football and received a full scholarship to play at James Madison University. He attended school for three years and would mess around with music but he never got serious with it. When his best friend died in a car accident in 2014, Socio had a tough time losing him which caused his grades started to fall drastically. Trying to keep his mind off of the tragedy, he began partying a lot and eventually transferred to California University of Pennsylvania. At the new school, music became more into focus for the young emcee. He has found his passion and creative expression through his love of music. His ability to rap and sing have helped create his unique sound which has helped him gain a rapidly growing fanbase throughout the area and beyond!
