9/24/17: Before their impressive win over the Raiders on Sunday night, most of the members of the Redskins stood for the anthem, though there were multiple clumps of players kneeling. Those that stood were arm-in-arm, and team owner Dan Snyder joined them on the sideline.
Players around the league displayed their unity on Sunday including players on the Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens sidelines who linked arms and some took a knee during the singing of "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the start of their game at Wembley Stadium in London.
The sign of solidarity comes two days after President Trump stated at a political rally in Alabama that team owners should fire players who fail to stand for the national anthem prior to games.
