The University of Maryland, College Park has made the Princeton Review’s list of Top Schools for Entrepreneurship Programs.
The school comes in at number 15 in the list of the top 25 undergraduate programs. The rankings are based on several factors including how many students were enrolled in the entrepreneurship program; what percentage of faculty members are actual entrepreneurs; and what kinds of support the school offers outside of the curriculum (such as competitions and clubs).
According to the survey results, 7 percent of recent graduates from the UMD entrepreneurship program started businesses after graduation; 89 percent are still in business.
