About Tex The Great: Born in El Paso, Texas in 79, this emcee was subject to all types of music, from soul to funk to R&B and the list goes on. Hip-Hop caught his heart and ear then soon possessed his soul. Honing his skill through school and the streets he acquired many styles. Fascinated by wordplay, east-coast Hip-Hop became his acquired taste. As a student of Hip-Hop he aimed to play a part in the history of this culture. Like many other things, there are ups and downs. It's been a long road. A lot of lessons learned. A lot of experiences to share. Tex the Great is fine with being a well known unknown however with the skills he possess, he plans on being a well respected emcee among the underground and the masses! Get With It Or Lay In It!
