About Tricky Dice: James King aka Tricky Dice born, raised and residing in Washington DC. Tricky grew up listening to Go-Go. Club music R&B and classic Hip Hop. This blend of sounds is reflected in his music accompanied by his strong lyrical presence.

Tricky Dice was inspired by Biggie, Big L, Wu Tang, Jay Z, and DMX. Realizing he had a gift he started battling rival rappers. He soon would join forces with his cousin Pronto they would call themselves Bloodline their gritty sound and heavy lyrics would create a buzz opening up for major acts.

Tricky continued to move forward as a solo artist by the name of Slim Da Chosen One! One night out gambling he rolled 7 sevens in a row. Someone yelled “Tricky Dice” From there the icon was born. A smooth street individual and a master of wordplay.

Tricky Dice would create his first album “The Calm Before The Storm” moving thousand of units out of the trunk. Next the mixtape “Casino Royale” created a heavy buzz with songs like “Breathe”. Performing that at the Lebron Jame tour opening up for bigger acts such as T.I., Red Cafe and Fat Joe. Tricky continued to work on releasing the mixtapes “Red Light Special” and “Open for Business” The current mixtape release “Life is a Gamble” featuring the street bangers “Rondo” and “Black Bill Gates” Tricky Dice is definitely a problem. If you know like I know, Always bet on the dice!
