About Don Cox: Washington, DC Metropolitan area native Don Cornelius Cox, (Born October 11, 1973), better known by his stage name, Don Cox or DonDunnit, is an American record producer, record executive, songwriter, film score composer, entrepreneur, and occasional actor. At an early age, Don taught himself how to play all percussions, including the piano. He developed the ability to recite music from hearing it only once, as well as, he learned how to arrange piano chords to create full songs.

Don started gaining attention from his talents in the late 90's, early 2000 in the local Washington, DC music scene and in the national hip-hop world through his friendship with Washington, DC rapper MCA/Giffen artist, at the time Black Indian. Even though Don Cox music career began looking promising, he quickly learned fast that if he wanted to make his passion of producing music a reality, he had to stay relevant. That's when Don join forces with his longtime childhood friend Rapper, Actor Tray Chaney, best known for his character "Poot" on the HBO series The Wire, to help launch their production label Fire Drop Music Group.

Currently, Don focuses his career on producing and songwriting for artists, while occasionally contributing vocals to other artists' songs. Although Don will continue to produce and work artist projects via his production label, in the near future, he plans on scoring more professional indie level films and making his mark on major featured films.
