About Noah-O
: Birthed to Filipino and Sicilian parents, Noah O was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He lived in San Francisco until he was in seventh grade, when his family moved to the West End in hopes for a new beginning. “Growing up, we had it good at first,” Noah recalls, “but it was the 1980's. Drugs affected our lives and tore apart our family. Eventually, I was sent to live in Virginia so we could start over.” Instead of letting the troubles of his childhood hinder him, he chose to channel his energy into more productive activities, such as writing poetry and reading.

Noah O began writing rhymes at the age of fourteen, but it was not until the age of seventeen that he began recording. He credits veteran hip-hop recording artists such as Tupac Shakur, Nas, Jay-Z, Eightball and MJG as his lyrical influences, but he also expresses his appreciation for all of hip-hop. “Basically the whole culture of Hip Hop is the soundtrack for my life, these artists are just a few who come to mind.”

The image of the Gangsta Rapper is so prevalent in today's music but Noah O goes directly to the heart with a sound the streets and Hip Hop heads can relate to. His music is a delicate balance of what many term street music and conscious rap. “I GOT IT!” the first single from the forthcoming album Struggle Music is a call to all who feel they have what it takes to make it to succeed, to shine and represent for their home town. Produced by Big Boyz Productions from Atlanta, GA this bass heavy track is guaranteed to have the club crunk and trunks rattling. The video for “I Got It” was added to rotation on MTV Jams in June 2011. Noah O has a strong buzz in the DMV region opening for major artists Bone Thugs & Harmony, Yung LA, Cash Money Records, The Lox & more. Not content with being only an artist Noah helped found his own company Charged Up Entertainment LLC and operated a full service recording studio in Richmond, VA as well as putting together a monthly Hip-Hop networking event that features MC & Producer battles and performances from local artists titled "The Rebirth". This event has continued to grow and show yet another side to Noah's business savvy. Aware of the void in community services Charged Up Ent. along with sponsors The City of Richmond, Fox television and Clear Channel broadcasting established a successful community event entitled VyAy (Virginia Youth are Yearning) Day which aims to curb youth violence, drug use, and gang activity through the use of performing arts. Gifted with a great ear for music and the ability to tell his story and make it relate-able to the masses, Noah O is gaining momentum and sure to carve out a lane in the music industry.
